Police are on the search for a gunman who held up a motel in Rancho Mirage. The Motel 6 on the 69500 block of Highway 111, just west of Date Palm Drive was robbed at gunpoint Friday at 9:45 p.m. Officers say a Hispanic man entered the motel office and robbed the clerk at gunpoint.
