Hidden but most definately excellence

I came across this sushi joint after grocery shopping one morning and decided to take my husband hat night to try it out. Since we are only seasonal locals we are not that familiar with the area. The food here was so incredibly good and unlike many sushi restaurants these days it was very authentic traditional Japanese food. The staff was also kind and helpful. The dining experience was quite an enjoyment!

WORST SUSHI EVER!!!

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to! I have never had someone ever be that rude to me. I could have gotten better sushi rolls at a grocery store. After going through such bad service, I look down on my plate to find hair in my sushi. This is the place to go if you want to have the worst dining experience you have ever had.

Delightful place w/good food

My company travels to the Desert area for conferences every summer and we have enjoyed Midori for the past 3 years. The sushi chefs are always friendly creating a comfortable environment. The food presentation and quality is wonderful.

Made me ill.

Midori's Food is good but I've gotten food poisoning twice at the Rancho Mirage location. My husband really wanted me to give it another chance, since it might have been something else that made me sick, so we went a second time two years after my first visit. Unfortunately, I was sick the same way both times. To be fair, the food is tasty and the chefs are friendly, but I simply cannot recommend this restaurant based upon my experiences.

Good experience

My family had a great time during Spring Break at this cozy place. We enjoyed the environment and the food is delicious. The owner is a hoot and very welcoming! The sushi chefs created a wonderful show for my kids. A perfect place to dine for out of towners.
